Thorsten Sackmann found his way into the financial world through an internship followed by banking training. It was the starting point for an international career that led him via Deutsche Bank Group, Credit Suisse, and UBS to Hamburg, Geneva, Zurich, and for many years directly to Latin America. His long stay in Brazil had a lasting impact on him and gave him a deep understanding of the local culture and mindset. Together with his international network built over more than 30 years, he has successfully brought this valuable expertise to Lakefield Partners since 2021.
